Disrupting the Silence
Silent Sons began as a specialized division of Nine Seconds Corporation, created to advance the mission of building stable, violence-free homes and safe, equitable communities. We exist because the role of men in shaping families and communities cannot be ignored. When young men lack the skills to manage pressure, the consequences are catastrophic, not just for them, but for everyone connected to them.
Yet, the lack of resources available to support the unique challenges men face to prepare them for the pressures of life and leadership is undeniable.
Grow up without a father in the home, increasing their risk of behavioral dysfunction.
In the juvenile justice system have experienced trauma they were never taught to process.
Reported sports caused them some form of pressure contributing to anxiety, stress, burnout, and mental health struggles
